165: Why I’m retiring my signature program (and what’s coming next)

After seven years in business and 165 podcast episodes, I've realized something pretty big.

The year I almost quit

What I realized about my business

I started my business with a focus on selling high-ticket courses and services. I was a copywriter for coaches and clients who sold those types of offers, and I built a really beautiful business.
And then I kind of moved away from that for a little bit.
Maybe it was the post-pandemic slowdown and me repositioning myself or losing my focus and falling away from my niche a little bit. Things have felt a little tougher and not as exciting and just harder, along with the reality of the economic slowdown and trust recession that I've been talking about.
But I think I also realized that the core program that I've been offering, The Joy of Copy Club, has evolved into something that is far beyond copy.
Sure, we write sales pages and emails, but the real magic of that space, the alchemy of what was happening to the people inside the community... they were discovering themselves.
They were unearthing their voice. They were leaning into their expertise. And it was affecting how they would show up on LinkedIn, in their emails, in their sales moments.
It was an incredible thing to watch.
